About Waylon
Dr. Waylon Chen began his journey at the University of Waterloo where he received his Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He also played varsity volleyball where he began to develop a strong passion for personal training and athletic performance. This led him to continue his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). He also obtained a diploma in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.
Dr. Waylon is a chiropractor that believes in collaboratively working with the individual to achieve their endeavours. His treatments are personalized and evidence-informed to improve patient outcomes. He emphasizes education as a crucial aspect of his treatment plan to help individuals gain insight into minimizing injury, performance optimization, and patient empowerment. Dr. Waylon also incorporates manual therapy, exercise prescription, lifestyle modifications, neurofunctional acupuncture and more into his treatments.
Outside of the clinic, he continues to pursue his passions of education and coaching by working with local club volleyball teams in the GTA. Dr. Waylon can be seen playing 9man volleyball, struggling in golf, running and weight lifting.
