Dr MacDonald has shaped his practise and life around movement and balance. He is a self-directed learner, multi-sport athlete, and engaged community member, who has worked, lived, and played in the community for over 30 years. He has held leadership roles in his profession at both provincial and national levels, and has been active as a speaker, presenter, and political lobbyist. Dr. MacDonald is also a dedicated community volunteer, an enthusiastic participant in community theatre, and an avid athlete, having coached varsity athletics and competed in both marathons and Ironman triathlons
