About Teresa

Dr. Teresa Donovan, ND has been a Licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Nova Scotia since 2007. With over 17 years in experience, her practice focuses on fertility, women's health, and endocrinology including adrenal and thyroid. She has advanced training in chronic infections, chronic pain, epigenetics, mold illnesses, SIBO and digestive disorders, and Lyme disease & co-infections, neurotransmitters and mental health, and heavy metal toxicities. She completed her undergraduate degree in 2001 from St. Francis Xavier University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutrition. After her undergraduate degree, Dr. Donovan completed an International Development and Youth Leadership Program at the Coady International Institute, including a work placement in Kenya, where she developed the foundation for a national reaching program in Kenya. In 2006 she completed her degree in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Donovan is licensed with College of Naturopathic Doctors Alberta (CNDA) and is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and is a member and current president of the Nova Scotia Naturopathic Association (NSAND). In her free time, Dr. Donovan enjoys family time with her husband and daughter, keeping an active lifestyle through fitness & healthy eating, and enjoying time with their dogs, cats, and horse as you can often find her with her daughter at the stables
