Meet Dr. Susan Holroyd Avoiding Surgery Through Chiropractic When I was a teenager growing up in Vernon, it was discovered that I had advanced scoliosis, an abnormal lateral curvature of the spine. The medical solution was to surgically implant steel rods from the base of my neck all the way through to my tailbone. Fortunately I discovered chiropractic and began getting regular adjustments which allowed me to avoid major surgery, be more comfortable, restore normal function and prevent the progression of this abnormal curve. I experienced the life changing benefits of chiropractic ever since I was a teenager. My passion to help others avoid needless drugs and surgery lead me to become a chiropractor.” Dr. Susan Chiropractic Education I completed my Bachelor of Arts and chiropractic pre-requisites at the University of Victoria. I earned my Doctorate of Chiropractic during the four year program at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, graduating at the top of my class in 1997 with Cum Laude distinction. An Ever-growing Passion We regularly attend advanced post-graduation courses to learn the latest research on strategies for nutrition, fitness, children’s health, maternity wellness, spinal correction and overall well-being to better serve their patients. We regularly host health and wellness seminars in the community to empower our patients with the knowledge, skills and action steps to enhance their lives.
