She completed her education at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she gained comprehensive training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and holistic health modalities. In her practice, Dr. Shirley uses a variety of acupuncture techniques including electroacupuncture, scalp acupuncture, and auricular acupuncture, thoughtfully selected based on each patient's needs. She also integrates complementary therapies such as cupping, gua sha and mud therapy to support pain relief, circulation, and relaxation. When appropriate, she prescribes custom herbal formulas to address internal imbalances and promote long-term healing. Her clinical experience encompasses a variety of conditions, including insomnia, digestive disorders, anxiety, stress, acute or chronic pain, and women's health issues.
