About Sheila
Sheila came to Naturopathic medicine through a career in Nursing. Sheila worked for a long time as an ICU nurse. At some point Sheila was struggling with burnout and needed to re-evaluate her career. Discovering Naturopathic medicine was like finding the missing piece for her. Moving from a disease orientation to a wellbeing focus was a good fit. Sheila enjoys not just eliminating symptoms, but helping people move towards health.
Sheila is known as a practical and caring Naturopathic Doctor. Sheila creates individualized treatment plans that deliver result without being overly complicated. Her practice is informed by evidence based medicine. She brings together both conventional medicine and Naturopathic medicine giving you the best of both worlds.
Sheila’s practice welcomes all patients, but has a focus on digestion, hormonal health and mental health. She uses a mixture of diet and lifestyle counseling, lab testing, botanical medicine and targeted supplementation. One of her strengths is creating a safe healing environment for you to share your health concerns.
When Sheila is not treating patients she is playing soccer, being in nature and talking to all the animals she sees.
