Dr. Sean Y. Abdulla completed his post-secondary education at Wilfrid Laurier University where he attained a BA (Hons) in Kinesiology and Phys-ed. He went on to complete a Masters in Neuroscience and Biomechanics at York University. Dr. Abdulla's strong interest in manual care, sports injuries, orthopedics and rehabilitation led him to pursue a career in chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). He completed the 4-year Doctor of Chiropractic program, graduating with Clinic Honours. Upon graduation, Dr. Abdulla was accepted into the prestigious CMCC Sport Sciences Residency Program to complete 2 additional years of specialty training towards a Fellowship from the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada). He successfully achieved his Sports Fellowship in December 2014. Dr. Abdulla is currently the clinic director at Eikonic Health and Wellness. Furthermore, he is a faculty member at CMCC.
Dr. Abdulla practices contemporary medical acupuncture and is certified in sports taping, full body Active Release Techniques (ART®) and Graston Techniques. He has worked with the Ontario Soccer Association, Ontario Grappling Association, Amateur MMA, Ontario Amateur Wrestling Association, Ontario Taekwondo and The Hill Academy Lacrosse Program. He was also a medical practitioner at the FILA Worlds 2013, Women’s Lacrosse World Cup 2013 and the Pan Am Games 2015.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Abdulla maintains an active lifestyle of exercise and healthy eating. These are principles Dr. Abdulla emphasizes in his holistic treatment and care of his patients.
