About Scott

Dr. Scott Macpherson hails from St. John’s Newfoundland. Following his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education degrees from Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador, he moved to Toronto to achieve his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Taking advantage of his outgoing personality, he worked as a tour guide for ESL students and volunteered for 3 years as the Social Representative for his graduate class. Following graduation he practiced full-time in Dublin, Ireland. There he was able to gain experience treating a variety of sports injuries and athletes including many rugby, hurling, and European football players. His personal sport-interests include soccer, snowboarding, weight-lifting, and squash and he uses his varied athletic background to help his many patients. Treating in the Niagara Region since January 2009, Dr. Macpherson is proficient in manual therapies, Acupuncture, Graston Technique®, muscle release therapy, ProAdjuster Techniques and more. He is an active member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Association, the Chamber of Commerce, Wise Guys Charity fund and the Niagara Business Group for young professionals. In 2015 he was awarded the Niagara Business Link 40 under 40 achievement award. Now, as joint-owner of the ProActive Chiropractic Clinic & Training Centre, he treats patients of all ages who are “ProActive” about their health, and who want to use Chiropractic Care to keep themselves healthy and moving well.
