About Sana
Dr. Sana Awan, ND is a Naturopathic Doctor dedicated to supporting individuals and families on their journey toward optimal health through a comprehensive, integrative approach. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Awan maintains a general family practice with a clinical focus on skin health, medical
aesthetics, digestive wellness, hormonal balance, pain management, fertility, autoimmune
conditions, and full-spectrum care for both women’s and men’s health. She emphasizes
preventive medicine and is deeply committed to uncovering and addressing the root causes of
illness.
Her approach blends evidence-informed natural therapies with conventional diagnostics,
including laboratory testing, nutritional assessments, and lifestyle modifications. Each treatment plan is thoughtfully personalized to meet the unique needs of every patient. Dr. Awan is passionate about empowering her patients through education and collaboration to achieve sustainable, long-term wellness.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Awan serves as part-time faculty at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she teaches physical examination skills and
venipuncture/injection techniques.
She remains actively involved in the professional community as a member of the College of
Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia, the British Columbia Naturopathic
Association (BCNA), and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). Dr. Awan also holds certifications in Acupuncture, Advanced IV Therapy, Prescriptive Authority, and
Medical Aesthetics, including Filler, Botox, and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) for facial rejuvenation and hair restoration.
