Dr. Robert Yates grew up in Calgary and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Lethbridge. This was followed by 4 years at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Yates uses an evidence-based, patient-centered approach to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions. This means combining clinical experience, current research, and patient preferences to help create a specific treatment plan that is tailored to the patient. Dr. Yates uses a diversified technique which includes the use of joint mobilization, spinal and extremity manipulation, patient education, soft tissue therapy, and exercises. Having grown up playing soccer competitively, as well as participating in a large variety of other sports, Dr. Yates uses this experience to better understand athletic injuries and how to help athletes return to play. Although interested in sports, he enjoys working with people from all backgrounds and is focused on the patient’s goals and wellbeing. When Dr. Yates is not in the clinic, he enjoys outdoor activities that include hiking, spending time at the lake, playing recreational sports, and in the winter, he particularly likes skiing. Dr. Robert is in the clinic Wednesday through Saturday.
