Dr. Rick Rana graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2003. It was here that he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic and Masters in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine degrees and began working in Southern California. During his time in CA he served as a clinic director in Los Angeles at one of the largest orthopaedic surgeon clinics where he also provided treatment as a chiropractor and acupuncturist.
Over the last 13 years, Dr. Rick Rana has been providing chiropractic & acupuncture treatment in the Capilano and Forest Heights area. He enjoys helping his patients using a variety of techniques including manual adjustments as well as his own style of soft tissue pressure point techniques that combine acupressure, trigger point release, and mobilizations. Being a registered acupuncturist allows him to also use traditional Chinese medicine principles to assist patients with a variety of health issues including pain management, headaches, arthritis, as well as management of stress or anxiety.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Rick Rana is a lifelong Edmontonian and an avid Oilers fan. He enjoys family time with his wife and their young daughter. They stay active by going for walks and bike rides in the river valley. Dr. Rana values patient care and always takes the time to listen as he enjoys working with patients of all ages to help them with their health goals.
