Dr. Rhys was born and raised in Victoria, BC. He has always held a strong interest in natural health, drawing inspiration from his naturopath and his family of chiropractors. Dr. Rhys proudly holds a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Human Biology from the University of Western States in Portland, OR.
Dr. Rhys has gained immense insight into the realm of chiropractic through both his mother and uncle, Drs. Cindy and Mike Berna. Specializing in adjustments, activator method, muscle testing techniques, instrument-assisted soft tissue work, deep tissue massage, and pressure point therapy, Dr. Rhys brings a holistic approach to wellness.
Beyond the clinic, he thrives in the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest, finding joy in hiking, backpacking, and skiing. A lifelong soccer enthusiast, Rhys's passion for sports seamlessly integrates with his commitment to promoting physical well-being. Off-duty, he's a board game aficionado, with Catan topping his favourites list.
