About Rachel

Dr. Rachel Rottger is a movement based chiropractor with a background in sports performance and rehabilitation. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer West Chiropractic College in San Jose, California, and holds a Bachelor of Physical Education with a concentration in sport performance from the University of Alberta. With over a decade of experience as a personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach, and rehabilitative based kinesiology, Dr. Rottger brings a broad understanding of human movement to her approach to care. She uses evidence informed chiropractic care, movement assessment, and rehabilitation strategies to help people understand their bodies, move with greater confidence, and return to the activities they enjoy. Dr. Rottger takes a movement based approach to musculoskeletal care, combining chiropractic techniques with exercise and rehabilitation to address pain, mobility limitations, and movement concerns. Her experience in competitive sport and coaching has shaped her practical approach to helping patients build strength, improve movement, and develop strategies that support long term function. Her clinical interests include temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and related jaw pain and headaches, as well as the management and rehabilitation of extremity injuries involving the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle. She also incorporates therapies such as Shockwave Therapy and Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) when appropriate to support pain management and recovery. Treatment may include chiropractic manipulative therapy, Graston Technique, Active Release Technique (ART), movement retraining, and individualized rehabilitation exercises. Dr. Rottger works with people of all ages and activity levels, adapting care to their goals, whether that means returning to sport, recovering from an injury, managing persistent discomfort, or moving and feeling better in everyday life.
