Dr. Nicole Turner began her healthcare career as a pediatric nurse, caring for children and families for eight years before pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Her nursing background continues to shape her compassionate, patient-centred approach and her appreciation for collaborative, individualized care.
Originally from a farm near Cochrane, Alberta, Dr. Turner has practised chiropractic in both central Alberta and England. These diverse experiences have allowed her to work with patients of varying ages, backgrounds, and activity levels, helping them manage acute injuries, chronic concerns, and recurrent musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Turner uses a variety of chiropractic techniques and soft-tissue therapies, tailoring each treatment to the individual needs and comfort of her patients. She practices Biomedical Dry Needling and is trained in Cranial Adjusting Turner Style (CATS), the Webster Technique, and Activator methods, and also utilizes drop-table techniques. She provides care for TMJ-related concerns, including jaw discomfort, muscle tension, and restricted movement. Dr. Turner has also completed training in Shockwave Therapy, which may be incorporated into the treatment of persistent conditions such as plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, and other soft-tissue concerns. She is also a certified Animal Chiropractor, allowing her to combine her professional expertise with her lifelong connection to animals and the rural community.
Her goal is to help each patient move more comfortably, function at their best, and confidently return to the activities that matter most to them. Outside the clinic, Dr. Turner is happiest staying active—fitting in as many sports as she can and spending as much time in the rural Alberta landscape as possible.
