About Nicola

Dr. Nicola Legate has been practicing chiropractic at Mississippi Chiropractic in Carleton Place since 2006, following her Magna Cum Laude graduation from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Along with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, she holds a Master of Science from Ottawa University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Honours) from Mount Allison University. Dr. Legate takes an evidence-based approach to both the assessment and treatment of a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, with a particular focus on identifying the root causes of injuries. Since 2018, she has worked with The Ottawa Hospital, contributing to the Rapid Access Clinics for Low Back Pain (RAC LBP) program. As a mother of two children, Dr. Legate has a strong passion for promoting natural health and wellness for families.
