About Nicholas

Dr. Nicholas Karavanas was born in Toronto, Ontario and raised in Markham, Ontario. While growing up and participating in various sports, he always had a keen interest in the sciences, health and helping people. Following high school, Nicholas went on to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He is also a licensed acupuncture provider. Nicholas grew up playing high-sports which ultimately came with a lot of injuries. Living through pain and discomfort fueled him to become the best he can be at keeping people out pain and improving our body’s normal function. In his treatments, Nicholas aims to correct postural and musculoskeletal issues that can be hindering optimal movement. He takes a patient-centred approach and utilizes adjustments, soft tissue therapy, laser and acupuncture as some of the tools to get his patients better. In his down time, you can catch him outside walking or running, reading up on the latest scholarly articles around health and on the soccer field, both as a player and sideline medical staff!
