My client focus is in treating adults and children ages 14+ I believe you are your most precious resource, and investing in yourself is the greatest gift. Making the decision to attend therapy is courageous. Research shows that the most important determinant of successful therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. Finding the right fit can be daunting. I am an experienced psychologist with a warm, caring, and thoughtful approach. I can help you navigate life’s hurdles and improve mood and anxiety issues, trauma, life transitions and relationships. I work collaboratively with you to become the best version of yourself. I cultivate relationships with each client based on a psychodiagnostic assessment to determine treatment goals based on your unique needs. I help you recognize patterns in your life that are keeping you stuck and provide you with tools to move forward. I completed my education in England and the United States and have been in good standing with the BC College of Psychologists since 2017. I have extensive training over the last 15 years with diverse populations including those with substance abuse and complex mental health issues. Methods of Therapy I am trained in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-based therapy, cognitive processing therapy, acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT).
