About Natalie

Dr. Natalie Alvares graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Physical Education from the University of Toronto before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Alvares has a special interest in diagnosing and treating neck and back pain, headaches, joint and muscle injuries, as well as nerve-related conditions. She is passionate about helping patients recover from injury, manage chronic pain, and prevent future concerns through an active, evidence-based approach. As a strong advocate for patient-centered care, Dr. Alvares provides individualized treatment plans that address each person’s unique goals and lifestyle. A treatment session with Dr. Alvares may include soft tissue therapy, manipulations/adjustments, mobilizations, therapeutic and rehabilitative exercise, as well as lifestyle, ergonomic, and preventative care advice. She places a strong emphasis on education, ensuring patients are empowered with the knowledge and strategies they need to support recovery, maintain mobility, and promote long-term wellness. Dr. Alvares has developed expertise in working with diverse patient populations through her clinical training, specifically at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. There, she treated individuals of all ages and from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, many of whom presented with complex and multifaceted health concerns. During this time, she regularly collaborated with many different practitioners within family health teams to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. In her free time, Dr. Alvares enjoys exploring new trails with her dog, traveling and experiencing different cultures through art and cuisine, painting, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
