## Dr. Michelle Chow, MD, CCFP, MSCP Dr. Michelle Chow is a family physician with a focused practice in women’s health, non-surgical gynecology, and menopause care. She has extensive experience caring for women throughout different stages of life and has a special interest in office-based gynecologic care and procedures. At MAUD Medical Clinic, Dr. Chow’s Jane appointments are specifically for physician consultations related to vaginal laser treatments. Dr. Chow provides medical assessment and consultation for patients considering vaginal laser therapy, including treatments offered at MAUD using Fotona laser technology. Her role is to help determine whether treatment may be appropriate based on a patient’s symptoms, medical history, goals, and individual health considerations. As a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), Dr. Chow has advanced training in perimenopause and menopause care and brings an evidence-based understanding of the hormonal and genitourinary changes that can occur throughout midlife. Dr. Chow is also a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Calgary, where she teaches Family Medicine residents. She completed her Doctor of Medicine and residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Calgary, with additional residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a Certified Member of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) and holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours. ### Vaginal Laser Consultations at MAUD Patients interested in vaginal laser treatment can book a consultation with Dr. Chow to discuss their concerns, treatment options, suitability for treatment, expected outcomes, potential risks, and whether vaginal laser therapy is appropriate for them.
