About Mhairi

Dr. Russell was born in Scotland and immigrated with her family to Canada in 1983, settling in Revelstoke, BC in 1986. She graduated high school in Revelstoke and then completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Victoria. Dr. Russell graduated from the Univeristy of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry in 2004. She practiced along side her father in Revelstoke for a year before moving to Salmon Arm. Dr. Russell now practices along side her husband, Dr. Bollans, with whom she has a young family that keeps them busy. Dr. Russell actively pursues continuing dental education at the Kois Centre in Seattle, as a member of the Frank Spear Study Clubs, and completing other highly regarded programs.

“I had a dental issue mid afternoon on a Saturday that left a sharp area in the mouth. I could not fathom trying to sleep with that sharpness and growing discomfort for a day or two when my dentist was open again so I searched for an emergency dentist. I found Dr. Russell at Hudson Dental on call and she got me in within 45 min. of my earnest plea for help. She and Shar (hoping I spelled that right) were so fun, friendly, quick and professional. I was able to relax from my tooth "ordeal" right away. I would highly recommend Dr. Russell and her team.”
