Most importantly, she cares about using a collaborative and functional approach to tailor each patient’s treatment plan to their specific needs and goals. --- About Originally from the BC Interior, Meghan has lived in Melbourne, Toronto, Portland, and Seattle, but returned to Vancouver in 2020. She grew up with seven siblings (and only one bathroom!) and stayed active with swimming, diving, soccer, boxing, and dance. These days, she still moves most days—whether it’s yoga, strength training, biking to a patio, paddleboarding, or hiking. Why She Became a Chiropractor Because she’s a giant nerd. (Her own chiropractor eventually told her to stop asking so many questions and just become one.) She genuinely loves anatomy, movement, and helping others build a better relationship with their bodies—whether that’s through manual therapy, strength and mobility work, or lifestyle coaching focused on sleep, stress, and agency. Athletics Yoga (20+ years) – formerly an instructor Strength and conditioning – taught group classes, still does personal training Pickleball – new obsession; sore loser who forgets when she’s won Cycling – mostly scenic rides on “Princess Buttercup” (her cruiser), but recently upgraded to a racing bike and is learning to love the Lycra Fun Fact Cookies and banana bread are her kryptonite. Meghan will happily nerd out on anatomy, Formula 1, or her favourite bird-watching app. (She will also show you 12 photos of her niece Ruby unless you stop her.)

What patients said about Meghan

Ayla Tafreshi · Google · 14 Jun 2026

Dr. Meghan Baker was thorough, practical, and genuinely caring from the very first consultation. She took the time to actively listen, ask thoughtful questions, and really understand what I was experiencing. I never felt rushed, and her approach immediately put me at ease. What she did during the treatment was noticeably different from any physiotherapy, massage therapy, or osteopathic treatment I have received in the past. Some of the work around my neck vertebrae was a bit uncomfortable in the moment, but completely tolerable. At one point, I may have questioned some of my life choices, but Dr. Meghan clearly knew exactly what she was doing! 🤣 The real surprise came afterward. Over the following days, I felt a level of release and comfort in my neck and shoulders that I honestly was not expecting. Muscles that seemed to have been holding a grudge against me for years finally decided to let go. I found myself moving more freely and feeling noticeably less tense. The follow up exercises she recommended have also been practical, manageable, and genuinely helpful. What stayed with me most was not just the treatment itself, but how comfortable I felt in her care. I left the appointment thinking, “THAT was different,” and over the next few days I kept noticing little improvements that made daily life easier. Sometimes you leave a healthcare appointment wondering whether it helped. In this case, I did not have to wonder. I could feel the difference. I am genuinely glad I gave it a try, and I am looking forward to my next appointment.

Dr. Baker is an extremely caring and dedicated practitioner. She listens closely to her patients and takes time to find the root cause of their pain. After explaining conditions clearly, she tailors treatment plans and provides a blend of methods focused on finding long term solutions to improve movement and mobility and promote recovery. Her treatments are highly effective but what stands out most, is her sincere concern for her patients’ well-being. She treats our entire family and we feel very fortunate to be in her care.
