Dr. Megan Aguiar, ND (she/they) is a compassionate Naturopathic Doctor whose focus is in supporting individuals through chronic pain, fatigue, gut health issues, and mental health challenges. By using a holistic approach that combines scientific research with natural therapies, she empowers patients to reclaim their health and increase their quality of life. Dr. A values each patient’s need for an individualized approach to care that involves personalized treatment plans. Having personally navigated the complexities of chronic pain and fatigue, Dr. A brings a unique perspective to their practice. Their lived experience enhances their ability to understand what patients are going through, creating an empathic and supportive environment where healing can flourish. She believes that patients are the experts of their own bodies, and she humbly brings her medical expertise to help them be active participants in their healing journeys. Dr. A is committed to providing a safe, inclusive space where people of all ethnicities, sexualities, and genders feel seen, supported, and respected. Dr. A’s clinical approach is grounded in a combination of naturopathic therapies—including lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, nutraceuticals, homeopathy, acupuncture, and nutrition—to support optimal health. She also uses blood work when needed to help guide treatment plans. She strongly believes that collaborating with other health professionals can serve to enhance patient outcomes. Whether you are struggling with persistent pain and fatigue, gut imbalances, or mental health concerns, Dr. A is dedicated to helping you uncover the best path toward wellness, with the understanding that every patient’s journey is unique. Dr. Megan Aguiar, ND is registered and licensed through College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO), and is a member of the OAND (Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors) and the CAND (Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors). She completed a year long internship at Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), which included working in the Fibromyalgia and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome focus shift. She is also certified in Mental Health First Aid through The Canadian Training Institute/Opening Minds: Mental Health Commission of Canada.
