Dr. Marie-Josée (MJ) Charette is a chiropractor who provides personalized, evidence-based care to support pain relief, recovery, and long-term movement health. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the clinical proficiency award. Dr. MJ’s interest in chiropractic began in childhood while seeking help for posture and athletic performance. Experiencing the benefits firsthand both in daily life and as a varsity volleyball athlete sparked her commitment to helping others move and feel their best. Dr. MJ’s practice style is comprehensive, including not only your typical chiropractic adjustments, but also a combination of laser therapy, muscle release therapy, exercise prescription, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, acupuncture and dry needling. Her background includes experience in ergonomics, biomechanical research, chronic pain and sports medicine, giving her a well-rounded understanding of movement, injury, and rehabilitation. Dr. MJ enjoys working with individuals of all ages and activity levels, whether they’re managing everyday aches, recovering from injury, or looking to improve how they move. Outside the clinic, she can be found playing volleyball, walking her dog, traveling and crafting. Her goal is simple: to help you move with confidence, feel your best, and return to the activities that matter to you.
