About Lori

Lori is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) with over 15 years of clinical experience. She believes that building strong, collaborative relationships with her clients is essential to helping them address their emotional, mental, and physical concerns. Lori empowers her clients to navigate personal challenges, overcome unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, and cultivate healthy, fulfilling relationships. She works with children, youth, and adults. She supports children and teens who may be struggling to fit in socially, feeling isolated, or experiencing a lack of understanding from friends or family. Through compassionate guidance, she helps them identify areas for growth and develop skills to navigate these formative years with greater confidence and resilience. With adults, Lori addresses issues such as anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem that may hinder personal growth and goal achievement. By helping clients heal distorted self-perceptions, she fosters the development of a more positive self-image and healthier interpersonal relationships. She also works with couples and families facing recurring relationship challenges that prevent them from achieving the connection they desire. She helps them recognize and address common obstacles, while teaching practical tools to build stronger, more effective communication and emotional bonds. Collaborating closely with each client, Lori tailors her treatment plans to meet individual needs. Drawing from a diverse skill set, she integrates a person-centered approach with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution-focused therapy, play therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT) for couples, and mindfulness-based techniques. Lori, ND, is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a holistic approach to uncovering root causes of health issues. She emphasizes lifestyle and dietary changes, plus targeted nutrient therapies, for lasting wellness. She served as a clinical supervisor for fourth-year interns at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. In private practice, her focus areas include mental health and counselling, women’s health and menopause, weight management, and digestive wellness. She holds certification in prescriptive authority and acupuncture. Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and preteen daughter—skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, and camping and swimming during the summer months.
