Dre Lauren Santiago détient un doctorat en chiropratique du Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). Elle est certifié par l’Ordre des Chiropraticiens du Québec et elle est membre de l’Association des Chiropraticiens du Québec et de l’Association Chiropratique Canadienne.
Dr Santiago s’engage à créer un environnement sécuritaire et bienveillant où les patients se sentent véritablement écoutés et compris. Elle a à cœur d’accompagner les individus à jouer un rôle actif dans leur santé, en offrant des soins de haute qualité tout en traitant chaque patient avec la même compassion et le même respect qu’elle accorderait à ses proches ou aux membres de sa famille. Elle croit fermement en une approche globale de la santé, reconnaissant l’importance de la connexion entre le corps et l’esprit.
En utilisant une approche fondée sur les données probantes et fonctionnelle, Dr Lauren évalue le système neuromusculosquelettique afin de favoriser la récupération, de restaurer la fonction et de réduire le risque de blessure. Elle privilégie des soins individualisés et centrés sur le patient, en adaptant chaque plan de traitement aux objectifs uniques de ses patients. Ses techniques comprennent les manipulations vertébrales et des extrémités, les mobilisations articulaires, les techniques de tissus mous, les exercices de réadaptation ainsi que l’éducation des patients.
Avant de devenir chiropracticienne, Dre Santiago a obtenu son baccalauréat spécialisé en kinésiologie à l’Université de l’Institut de technologie de l’Ontario, où elle a également occupé le rôle de conseillère en santé mentale auprès des résidents du campus.
En plus de sa pratique clinique, Dr Lauren est impliquée auprès de l’équipe nationale canadienne de water-polo – catégorie cadette, où elle soutient les athlètes dans l’optimisation de la performance, la prévention des blessures et la facilitation de la récupération. Ses recherches récentes, portant sur les connaissances des chiropraticiens en matière de commotions cérébrales, ont été publiées dans le Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Santiago is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel truly heard and understood. She is passionate about empowering individuals to take an active role in their health, delivering high-quality care while treating each patient with the same compassion and respect she would offer to close friends and family. She strongly believes in addressing all aspects of health, recognizing the importance of the mind-body connection.
Using an evidence-based, functional approach, Dr. Lauren assesses the neuromusculoskeletal system to support recovery, restore function, and reduce the risk of future injury. She prioritizes individualized, patient-centered care, tailoring each treatment plan to align with her patients’ unique goals. Her techniques include spinal and extremity manipulation, joint mobilization, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitative exercise, and patient education.
Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Santiago earned her Honours Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, where she also served as a mental health advisor supporting campus residents.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Santiago is involved with the National Canadian Water Polo Cadet Team, where she supports athletes in optimizing performance, preventing injury, and facilitating recovery. Her recent research, focused on concussion knowledge among chiropractors, has been published in the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association.
