About Krysta

Dr. Krysta was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario and recently moved to the Niagara region to start practicing. Growing up, Dr. Krysta was always active, playing soccer, figure skating, cheerleading, swimming and mostly dancing. She was a dancer for 18 years and competed for several years. She is no stranger to the aches and pains that come with these sports. Dr. Krysta completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University, and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with honours. She then attended Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly New York Chiropractic College) in New York and obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She graduated with Honours, was inducted into the Phi Chi Omega Honours Society, and earned an advanced certificate in Whole Food Nutrition. Dr. Krysta is also certified in the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program and is Barre certified. She has also taken numerous courses to increase her palpation and adjustive skills through the Motion Palpation Institute, and was the President of the Motion Palpation Club at her school. Dr. Krysta has always had a special interest in treating the paediatric population in order to help them maintain a healthy lifestyle long term that continues into their adult life. Being a competitive dancer herself has also led her to an increased interest in treating dancers and gymnasts to help educate them on ways to avoid injury and strengthen their bodies to prepare for their training. With that being said, Dr. Krysta is excited to treat patients of all ages and help everyone live their very best life.
