About Kory
I have been the clinic director and chiropractor at Cornerstone Family Chiropractic since 2010. I grew up in East St. Paul, north of Winnipeg with my parents and two brothers. We were your typical blue collar family. I was extremely active as a child. I enjoyed playing numerous sports such as hockey, football, swimming, lacrosse, and motocross just to name a few! I also stayed busy delivering papers and with creative things like piano and tuba lessons. On my down time I loved (and still love!) riding dirt bikes, motorcycles, snowmobiles and snowboarding. When I was 14 years old, I had a life-altering hockey injury which paralyzed the entire left side of my body. This injury is what led me to seek chiropractic care. After my chiropractic experience and making a full recovery, I knew in my heart that I was born and chosen to be a chiropractor. I attended the University of Winnipeg in the early 2000’s where I attained my Bachelor of Science degree in biology. In 2006 I started at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota for my Doctorate in Chiropractic, graduating in 2009. I have a passion for helping people reach their full potential with chiropractic and the chiropractic lifestyle: nutrition, exercise, mindfulness practices/ meditation and detoxifying the body. I love spending time with family, friends and my beautiful girlfriend Rebecca. I stay active by working out and coaching at my brothers CrossFit gym. In my down time I enjoy reading books, listening to country music, spending time at our family cottage and walking/playing with our two dogs. I am a person who loves the heat and I love travelling to tropical destinations. In the summer I enjoy playing golf and any activities that involve being on the water or in a boat.
