About Korina
Dr. Korina Gov is an evidence-based chiropractor who is passionate about helping people lead a pain-free and active lifestyle. Born and raised in Toronto, she has always been immersed in a large variety of competitive sports, including ultimate frisbee and soccer, which pushed her towards a field focusing on human movement. Part of her inspiration for pursuing chiropractic was watching her parents live with chronic aches and pains throughout their lives, and wanting to help mitigate that.
She obtained her Bachelor’s of Kinesiology with Honours from the University of Toronto and went on to achieve her Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in California. She graduated Summa Cum Laude as the Salutatorian, in addition to achieving numerous academic awards.
Dr. Gov believes in catering her treatment to each individual patient, utilizing a variety of techniques in her treatment that could include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue mobilization, and active care.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, especially by the water, and is always on the search for the next best hike with her dog. She also speaks Teochew and Khmer.
