Dr. Jomana Al-Shareef completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Kinesiology at the University of Lethbridge before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. During her internship, she completed a seven-month clinical placement at the Rexdale Community Hub, providing care to low-income and underserved patients living with chronic pain. She also completed six-month externships in both community and sports medicine clinics.
In addition to her clinical placements, Jomana has provided sideline support to athletes, including through her work with the Ontario Fencing Association, where she assisted with acute injuries and emergency care. These experiences have strengthened her ability to work with diverse patient populations, including individuals with chronic pain, active individuals, and patients for whom English is a second language. Her experience working with ESL patients has further developed her communication and patient-education skills, allowing her to provide clear explanations and individualized treatment plans.
Jomana has pursued additional training in athletic taping, soft-tissue therapy, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, and other evidence-informed techniques. Her treatment approach combines manual therapy with individualized rehabilitation and exercise-based care.
With a strong background in athlete support and personal training, Jomana is committed to helping patients understand their musculoskeletal conditions and take an active role in their recovery. She believes patient education is an essential part of effective care and strives to provide patients with the knowledge and practical strategies needed to prevent re-injury, improve function, and maintain long-term health.
