About Joe
Dr. Joe Listro grew up in midtown Toronto, where he developed a passion for hockey, rugby, baseball, and basketball. Chiropractic runs deep in his family, his father, Dr. Paul Listro (Clinic Director at Listro Chiropractic Clinic), and his uncle are both chiropractors. From a young age, Dr. Paul instilled in Dr. Joe the values of chiropractic care, sparking the passion that ultimately led him to pursue his own career in the field.
Dr. Joe earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph in 2010. He went on to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2014. Following graduation, he trained under the renowned Dr. John Minardi, specializing in the Thompson Chiropractic Technique.
His professional journey includes working in one of Southern Ontario’s largest chiropractic practices under the mentorship of Dr. Ryan French. This invaluable experience helped him refine his clinical skills and build confidence in treating a wide range of patients.
Dr. Joe’s approach to care combines various chiropractic techniques, targeted exercises, and nutritional guidance to help the people of Toronto achieve their optimal health potential.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Joe stays active by playing hockey and baseball whenever he can. He’s also passionate about music and enjoys playing the piano. A self-proclaimed foodie and avid traveler, he loves discovering new restaurants, recipes, and destinations. If you have a favorite musician, dish, or travel spot, he’d love to hear about it!

“Two months in or so and we are still in process, but Dr. Joe Listro helped me gain back my mobility & my lower back pain went from 10/10 to a 2/10. There is degeneration in my lower back and a little in my neck as shown in the x-rays. My back pain had been getting worse and worse to the point where I couldn't have a full night's sleep, sit for a long time, dance, or even stand straight without max strength pain killers & muscle relaxers. He was very knowledgeable and honest about what I could expect and the different tiers of treatment... I chose to go for the full treatment for the health of my body and longevity of my career. After the first few adjustments I already started to notice less pain and more mobility, and now the pain isn't taking over my day. It takes work on my part too - stretching and following his guidance - but I'm looking forward to working out again and even light jogging! I never carry a heavy backpack any more, and I wear a back-belt for any heavy lifting/moving or if I feel pain coming on. I am so grateful that I can sleep a full night, and that I can work comfortably. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Also, he has a calm and humorous personality and communicates during the adjustment so you know what's happening. Kate at the front desk is lovely and welcoming.
