Dr. Janet McMordie is a fellowship-trained Sport and Exercise Medicine physician with over a decade of experience treating recreational and competitive athletes, active individuals, and patients with musculoskeletal injuries. She provides comprehensive assessment and management of acute and chronic sport-related injuries, including individualized treatment, rehabilitation, injection therapy, and return-to-activity planning.
Dr. McMordie has served in medical leadership and team physician roles with Team Canada at national and international sporting events, including the Paralympic Games, Parapan American Games, and FISU World University Games. She is the current Team Physician for Team Canada's Men's Wheelchair Basketball team. Her clinical approach is collaborative, evidence-informed, and focused on helping each patient return safely and confidently to the activities that matter to them. She has a Focused Practice Designation in Sport and Exercise Medicine so she does not negate the access bonus of Ontario Family Physicians.
