She completed her residency in family medicine with additional training in medical aesthetics, plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Yu’s commitment to diverse patient needs is evident in her extensive training. She also serves as a clinical instructor with the Faculty of Medicine at UBC. Dr. Janelle Yu’s treatment of each patient is informed by her scientific background, having published and presented internationally for her work in cosmetic therapies and surgeries.
