She is passionate towards helping women overcome their health challenges as she believes women deserve medical care that is unique to their specific concerns. Dr. Sekhon emphasizes on the root cause of symptoms and utilizes an integrative approach to create treatment plans that cater to the needs of each patient. She encourages proactive Naturopathic care while believing in the importance of establishing the foundations of health. Dr. Sekhon is dedicated to provide a safe place for her patients to begin their wellness journey through confidence.
Dr. Sekhon’s area of focus includes hair loss, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), menstrual irregularities, painful periods & Endometriosis, PMS & PMDD, menopause and fertility optimization. Even though most of her practice is directed towards supporting hormonal health, our body systems are interconnected and her other areas of focus include Metabolic conditions (thyroid disease, diabetes, high cholesterol and insulin resistance), Dermatology (Atopic dermatitis, Acne, Psoriasis) and lastly burnout and fatigue.
Dr. Sekhon obtained her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience & Psychology from the University of Lethbridge. During this time, she developed an interest in Naturopathic medicine and shortly after she completed her 4-year medical degree in British Columbia from Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Boucher campus). She then came back to her home in Alberta where she decided to start her practice. Dr. Sekhon holds additional certifications in IV therapy and Naturopathic Injection therapy. She offers services in both English and Punjabi.
