About Elizabeth
I am a registered psychologist in the province of Alberta, with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from York University in Toronto and post-doctoral fellowship from McMaster University in Hamilton. I have been practicing since 1998, offering individual therapy to adolescents and adults presenting with a variety of issues, such as anxiety (panic, worry, social anxiety, phobias, health anxiety etc); depression; health challenges, including neurological; grief and loss; acute and post trauma. The therapeutic approach is chosen to fit the individual and the situation, with a particular focus on cognitive behavioural therapy, contemporary psychodynamic therapy and other evidence-based treatments. I also work part-time as a hospital neuropsychologist. Away from work, I enjoy hiking, reading, and hanging out with my husband and daughter.
