Dr. Derek Lampshire is a Chiropractor, Active Release provider and Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, and the founder of River Valley Health and ATHX. Dr. Lampshire played hockey at the University of British Columbia, where he completed a degree in Animal Biology before attending Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California. Dr. Lampshire has been in active practice for 18 years, with his clinical emphasis focusing on sports injuries, biomechanical assessment and athletic performance. He has worked with Olympic and professional athletes and has been the lead chiropractic physician for numerous organizations, including the U of A Golden Bears Hockey, Athletics and Cross Country teams, Edmonton Rush Lacrosse, FC Edmonton Soccer, Edmonton Prospects, and the Canadian Athletics Coaching Centre.
