About Dennis

Dr. Dennis Milenov is the owner and clinic director at Axis Chiropractic. He graduated from York University in 1997 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Science and a certificate in Fitness Assessment and Exercise Counseling. After being inspired by his own experience with chiropractic care, he attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College for four years, receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001. Dr. Milenov also completed his certification in Clinical Acupuncture, which allows him to use a variety of healing methods to benefit his patients. He also utilizes laser therapy, myofascial release techniques, rehabilitative exercises, activator method, and custom orthotic therapy in his practice. Dr. Milenov has operated a family practice in Uxbridge since 2001. Working with patients from pain relief to wellness, he enjoys treating patients of all ages and helping people live healthier lives. He offers a comprehensive treatment approach to help patients improve, maintain, and optimize their health. His initial interest in chiropractic stemmed from his involvement in competitive sports from a young age. Chiropractic care helped to relieve aches and pains from sports injuries and also dramatically improved his overall general health. He credits chiropractic care as a major part of his successful athletic career as a four-time OUA All-Star with the York University Water Polo Team. He also spent time with the National Team representing Canada at several international competitions. Dr. Milenov has been an active participant in the Uxbridge community and has been involved with several organizations that assist local youth. He has been a volunteer coach for the Uxbridge Secondary School Swim Team, the Uxbridge Flyers Track & Field Club, Uxbridge Youth Baseball Association and North Durham United FC. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, living an active lifestyle and loves adventure travel. He is a member of the Uxbridge Cycling Club and is a competitive Masters Swimmer with the Uxbridge Masters Swim Club.
