About Corinne

Co-founder, chiropractor and acupuncture provider Dr. Brookhuis’ passion for helping her patients return to their activities is rooted in her lifelong love of athletics. Born and raised in Toronto, she competed in a wide variety of competitive sports including softball and hockey. Through sports, Dr. Brookhuis developed the ability to get the most out of herself and others, and developed an appreciation for the value of continued self-improvement. Dr. Brookhuis completed a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University. During her time at McGill, Dr. Brookhuis competed for Team Quebec and Team Canada for softball, and her student athlete lifestyle is what introduced her to chiropractic.Upon graduation, Dr. Brookhuis returned home to Toronto to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic, Magna Cum Laude, from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Brookhuis enjoys treating patients of all ages and activity levels, and takes a comprehensive and individualized approach to all of her patients. She uses a variety of techniques, modalities, and rehabilitation to help her patients reach their goals. Her treatment plans are evidence-based and focus on addressing the root problem of her patients’ complaints. In her spare time, you can probably find Dr. Brookhuis on the diamond - she is the assistant coach of a local competitive girl’s fastpitch team and is the president of the East Toronto Women’s Fastpitch Association. When not on the diamond, you can find her hanging with her pets or travelling with her husband.
