About Christi
I love meeting with people, hearing their stories, and helping clients better understand themselves to get closer to their goals. I prioritize developing rapport and building connections through humor and a client-centered approach. My practice is currently focused on conducting various kinds of psychological assessments with the goal of improving clients' overall quality of life.
I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Fielding Graduate University. I also hold a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I completed my pre-doctoral residency with British Columbia Mental Health and Substance Use Services (BCMHSUS) in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My clinical experience has included both assessment and treatment of individuals with complex mental health needs in forensic, clinical, and community contexts. I also have experience conducting psychological vocational assessments, providing therapy services to individuals with workplace injury and stress, and providing mental health services to youth.
While my practice has been highly influenced by my clinical training, my personal experiences have also been highly transformative. With a keen sense of adventure, I have spent several years living in the United States and the Middle East in Bahrain. These experiences have well prepared me to form relationships with individuals from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Dr. Nagy is currently seeing clients for in-person and telehealth assessment services (e.g., substance use disorder, occupational stress injury, psychodiagnostic, and psychological vocational assessments).
