Dr. Chelsea Carr Kinnear, D.C. is a licensed chiropractor and Clinical Acupuncture provider accepting new patients at Fall River Chiropractic.
Following her graduation from Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Quebec with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Neuroscience, Dr. Carr Kinnear pursued further education in health sciences by enrolling in the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Here she developed a passion for understanding how the nervous system is related to pain and using this knowledge to help her patient’s pain decrease following treatments. Her experience throughout her degree impressed on her the effect chiropractic can have on patients suffering from a wide variety of conditions and the influence it can have on their overall well-being.
Following a thorough examination to diagnose her patient’s condition Dr. Carr Kinnear develops a unique treatment plan for her patients that could include diversified or drop piece adjustments of the full spine and extremities, soft tissue therapy, clinical acupuncture and rehabilitative exercises. Her treatments focus on minimizing pain while improving function to allow patients to recover optimally and help prevent of future injury.
Dr. Carr Kinnear has a special interest in treating acute and chronic neck and back pain, headaches and disorders of the temporomandibular joint. Her past experience as a competitive sprint kayaker and involvement in swimming and downhill skiing have allowed her to develop an understanding in how the body should function efficiently to help succeed in these sports.
