About Callum

Dr. Cowan is a Board-certified Naturopathic Doctor and creator of The Phenom Method. He has worked with all sorts of high performers including UFC Champions, NHL players, Olympic Gold medalists, and anyone who wants to feel better & perform better. He is currently the High Performance Naturopathic Doctor on staff with the Arizona Coyotes (NHL) and London Knights (OHL). The Phenom Method is designed to maximize your health and performance so you can excel at work, rise above the rest in athletics, and get the most out of life! Dr. Cowan and the Phenom Team integrate the latest and most advanced modern scientific diagnostics with a comprehensive medical understanding of the body and how it works to identify the root causes of occurring issues and key areas for improvement. Treatments are tailored to meet the specific and unique needs of each patient for the most effective results and long-term health benefits. After graduating from the Honours Bachelor of Science program at McMaster University, Dr. Cowan went on to complete the four-year medical program in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). During his time at CCNM, Dr. Cowan treated patients at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, was chosen for a position in the Sports Medicine specialty program and was given the unique opportunity of working alongside Orthopedic Surgeons and Physicians in the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Department at North York General Hospital. With additional roles as a Medical Support Associate and Natural Medicine Educator, Dr. Cowan has extensive knowledge about diet/nutrition, natural supplements, and botanical formulas. Since his time at CCNM, he has taken numerous courses to advance his knowledge and has received special certifications in Pharmacology, Intravenous (IV) Nutrient Therapy, Mesotherapy and Biopuncture. Dr. Cowan is board certified and affiliated with the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy in Naturopathy (BDDT-N). With a true passion for his work, Dr. Cowan is committed to excellence and dedicated to advancing his knowledge and skills to give his patients the best results.
