About Ana

Dr. Ana Freire is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor working in Ontario, Canada. Returning to Canada after having earned her master’s and medical degree at the University of Porto in Portugal, she yearned to broaden her knowledge and bridge the gap in patient care. Wanting to provide a more comprehensive approach to patient management, Dr. Ana embarked on a new journey in Naturopathic Medicine. Health and wellness, to Dr. Ana, embodies not only mere physical health, but also it’s full integration with mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. She recognizes that each patient has a unique story, with equally unique health concerns. With a special interest in gut and mental health, she thrives on being able to provide individualized treatment to each of her patients through the use of various tools including lifestyle and dietary counselling, and targeted supplementation. Dr. Ana Freire is in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and is a professional member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND)
