About Allyson

Dr. Allyson Skeffington was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She earned her Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph and has completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating summa cum laude in 2025. Dr. Skeffington has always had a passion for movement, health, and helping others feel their best. She works with people from all walks of life—whether you're an athlete, managing a chronic condition, or simply want to move more comfortably day to day. She has a special interest in treating jaw pain, sports injuries, nerve pain and supporting seniors in staying mobile and independent. With a background as an elite-level baseball and hockey player—and years spent coaching both hockey and baseball—Dr. Skeffington brings a unique understanding of how the body performs under pressure and how to recover when it doesn't. She combines this experience with a personalized, evidence-based approach to care that’s all about what works best for you. She’s also certified in acupuncture, which she often uses alongside hands-on therapy to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and speed up recovery. Dr. Skeffington believes that learning never stops, and she’s committed to staying current with the latest chiropractic research and treatment techniques to offer the best care possible. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her staying active, trying new foods, or catching a game. She’s thrilled to be part of the team at Evolve Chiropractic and Physiotherapy and looks forward to helping you move, feel, and live better—whatever your goals may be.
