About Adam
Dr. Adam Murphy is a graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Prior to his early acceptance into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at CMCC, Dr. Murphy attended Brock University enrolled in the Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) program. Following his graduation from CMCC, he returned to Brock University to complete his degree. In addition, Dr. Murphy has completed a Master’s degree in Health Sciences program at Ontario Tech University. Dr. Murphy is currently completing his Sports Sciences Residency through the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada).
Dr. Murphy uses a patient centered model of care with his treatments, ensuring the highest level of care is delivered for each individual’s needs and preferences. The different forms of treatment offered by Dr. Murphy include acupuncture, concussion management and treatment, exercise prescription, joint manipulation and mobilization, Kinesiology taping, movement assessments, Shockwave, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitation programs of care. Dr. Adam focuses on patient specific goals and outcomes to best help those recover from their injuries.
Dr. Adam has worked with various levels of athletes from local sports organizations to Canadian Olympians during his career. As well, he has had the opportunity to work with professional baseball and hockey players, focusing on sport performance and rehabilitation.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Murphy enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring the outdoors by hiking and road trips.
Dr. Murphy is a qualified Doctor of chiropractic licensed to practice in Ontario and is registered with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
