I am a Registered Nurse with 32 years experience, many of those years as a Maternal Child nurse supporting women in labour and in the postpartum period following delivery.
When I was on my personal breastfeeding journey, I noticed a lack of support for new mothers in my community. After reaching out to a Lactation Consultant for support, I knew lactation consultation was my passion and something I needed to pursue. I became a Certified Lactation Consultant in 1997 and have spent the past 26 years supporting and advocating for the breastfeeding mother and baby.
Breastfeeding looks different for every mother. However you choose to feed your baby it is important for you to have the necessary tools, knowledge and support to be successful. Non-judgmental support and personal attention will be provided to help you achieve your breastfeeding goals.
