Donya is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner who offers a body-oriented, trauma-informed, and deeply compassionate counselling space. She supports clients navigating trauma, anxiety, anger, grief, shame, dissociation, boundary setting, PTSD, and major life transitions.
Her approach draws from Somatic Experiencing, IFS, Narrative Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. Donya supports clients in gently reconnecting with their bodies, emotions, and inner resources in ways that feel safe and grounded.
With a background in dance, voicework, and trauma-informed somatic practice, Donya brings creativity, presence, and cultural curiosity to her work. Her practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, anti-oppressive, client-centred, and rooted in the belief that healing can unfold through safety, co-regulation, and authentic self-expression.
