About Donna

Donna Saal was born and raised in Pembroke and is thrilled to be back in the Valley doing what she loves. She graduated from the Physiotherapy program at the University of Ottawa in 1996 and started on a path of post graduate training that has led to a great interest in orthopedics, manual therapy, women’s health, and pediatrics. Over the course of the last 30 years, Donna has evolved her practice and skills to nurture a specialization in women’s health including pre-natal care, post-partum rehabilitation, breast cancer care, as well as advanced skill in helping women through their menopausal journey. Donna utilizes manual therapy as well as her training in strength and conditioning/ yoga training to help her clientele with recovery, the treatment of pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction and moving toward health and wellness. Donna has also completed her full five years of training at the Canadian College of Osteopathy and applies osteopathic concepts and skills to her physiotherapy practice. Women’s Health: Donna has been practicing in the field of women's health for 30 years. She is trained with an advanced certification/specialization in Pregnancy and Post-Partum physiotherapy and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Her model of care empowers women and helps them though pregnancy in the goal of minimizing injury and promoting safe and consistent recovery.
