My philosophy is that wellness can be achieved by bringing balance between the physical, mental and emotional bodies. My personal experience with energy medicine/psychology created a curiosity to learn more which led me to pursue a career in counselling. My counselling approach is person-centered with an integrative lens which includes attachment theory, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy and emotion focused therapy. When appropriate, I use emotion code, releasing method, neuro kinetic therapy, emotion freedom technique and applied kinesiology. This approach can be used for any issues that cause your nervous system to become dysregulated. The focus is on unconditional love toward the self and establishing a safe base within. I have worked with clients as young as 8 years old to adults in their 70’s. On a personal side, I grew up in the prairies and spent 26 of my adult years in Hong Kong which is where I raised my 4 sons. I moved to Victoria, now my home, in the Fall of 2019. I enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, playing pickleball, and recently boxing!
