About Donna

Donna is a Registered social worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers and the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2011 and her Master of Social Work Degree in 2020. Donna brings 14 years of therapeutic social work experience, supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges. She provides both individual and family therapy, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences and begin to heal. Donna specializes in parent-teen conflict, complex child and youth behavioural needs, and trauma-informed therapy for individuals of all ages. She also works extensively with adults navigating anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns such as: Grief and loss Emotional regulation and chronic stress Low self-esteem and self-worth Boundary-setting and codependency Separation and Divorce Anger management Disordered eating and body image concerns Substance use and addiction recovery Her approach is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based, anti-oppressive, and anti-racist frameworks. Donna tailors each session to the unique needs of the individual or family, using therapeutic modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Motivational Interviewing, among others. With warmth, cultural sensitivity, and a deep commitment to client-centered care, Donna walks alongside each person on their journey toward healing, connection, and renewed well-being.
