About Diana
Diana is a Registered Social Worker with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University and is awaiting convocation to officially graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University’s Masters of Social Work. Both her degrees have an Indigenous focus and lens. Prior to this she completed her Social Services Diploma with an additional Certificate specializing in Addictions. Over the past fifteen years, she has been working in a variety of fields with individuals living with mental health and addictions concerns including as the Program Manager for The Mental Health and Addictions Program at Tyendinage Mohawk Territory. Additionally, as a single mother she has worked advocating for the needs of her three neurodivergent children, which has heavily influenced her academic journey. Throughout her career she has acquired a variety of skills through certificate programs including grief counselling, emotional regulation, couples work, and suicide intervention just to name a few.
