About Deval

Deval is a Resident Physiotherapist who achieved her Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy from India. She has had the privilege of practicing for 2 years in India before moving to Canada. Deval wanted to become a physiotherapist because she has witnessed how physiotherapy has made a difference in the recovery of one of her family members. She was able to witness the magic of making people better without the use of medicine or machines and is inspired to be able to do this for other people. Deval has experience working with a wide range of conditions such as post surgical rehabilitation, neurological conditions such as stroke and Parkinson's as well as a host of other musculoskeletal injuries such as low back pain, sciatica, tendonitis and arthritis. Deval strongly believes in active listening so she can understand clients concerns and provide guidance to achieve their specific goals. She utilizes various patient centered treatments using education, manual therapy, soft tissue techniques and detailed exercise prescription. She strongly recommends her patients become active participants in their rehabilitation to achieve their goals and have successful outcomes. Deval enjoys learning new skills and looks forward to upgrading and growing her knowledge with us. In her spare time she likes to go on hikes and experience outdoor adventures.
